Times are troubling,
Our minds rumbling.
Children begotten,
Feelings forgotten.
Thoughts whirling,
Words hurling.
Tension rising,
Not surprising.
One gushes,
The other rushes.
No options,
No sides.
Feeling numb,
Staying mum.
Tears well,
Hearts swell.
All forgiven,
Not forgotten.
Hit replay,
Here to stay.
Realization sinks,
Spirit quits.
No solution,
No resolution.
Trouble evaded,
Thoughts faded.
Feeling numb,
Staying mum.
